2026 marks the 21st Year of Yantara Jiro's Wesak Grand Ceremony!
The spiritual-energetic theme for 2026 is, "A New World". We know the activating element for this year is Fire, and it is increasingly showing its power and influence across the globe. The world is not only changing rapidly, but is also emerging anew. As change is impermanence, in the process humanity suffers and hardship continues to escalate. The reason for this is the lack of merits (positive energies) personally and collectively. In other words, humanity is exhausting positive energies faster than replenishing it.
To replenish, generate and multiply positive energies require performing good deeds sincerely and genuinely. This is becoming increasingly rare as personal gains are often foremost people's priority. It is a transaction rather than a "true-giving" - without expecting anything in-return. Negative thoughts, speech and actions burn up merits faster than anything.
On the Full Moon of Wesak, it is the most auspicious day where positive energies are not only generated, multiplied but also amplified. Our positive thoughts, actions and speech become incredibly powerful on this day and continue to set into energetic motion lasting eons of time, clearing countless lifetimes of negative energies. This is why Wesak is a powerful blessing and empowerment.
Wesak greatly empowers the attending individual (Participant) on this auspicious day to be blessed, empowered and charged while extending this blessing to our family, friends and the world. The merits are generated through activities such as meditations, visualisations, mantra recitations, and spiritual empowerments.

The 21st Wesak Grand Ceremony takes place in the spiritual dimension located in a secret and sacred location of the Himalaya mountain valley. This ceremony is attended by humans, physically in-person or remote, light beings, Gods and Goddesses, Devas, Angels, Dragons, Star Nations, Buddhas of various Worlds, Bodhisattvas, Siddhas and many uncountable Great Ones.
Yantara has been shown we will be guided to visualise a Pure Land (Buddha World) where spiritual empowerments will take place this year.
This ceremony will include the recitation of sacred mantras, activations, and meditations. This is to clear our thoughts, energy bodies, chakras and align ourselves to soul travel during a guided meditation to the Wesak Valley in Himalayas for attending the grand ceremony.
During the finale, attendees will be guided through a special soul journey meditation to receive Buddha's transmission. This ceremony supports a wide range of seekers; People who are new and needing support in spiritual practices, and practitioners who are already on the path coming here to renew and strengthen their devotions on the path of awakening and self-liberation.
Vajra Chanters
Vajra means “Thunderbolt” and “Diamond,” and also symbolizes the indestructible nature of Enlightenment. Throughout our mantra recitation, Yantara Jiro is joined by dedicated mantra practitioners who help uphold and protect the sacred space as we collectively chant the mantras of Chenrezig. Together we generate continuous waves of the six-syllable mantra, uplifting and opening the hearts of all present.
OM MANI PADME HUNG
Is the Chenrezig (Kannon) mantra for mental clarity; Compassion accumulation; Increase in Spiritual Powers. Prevention of rebirth in lower realms and especially transcending beyond six realms of reincarnation, and purifies negative karmic actions.
A recorded recitation of this mantra by Yantara Jiro will be available to all participants. You will be able to listen and recite together daily.
Preparation & Guidelines for Online and In-Person Ceremony
- Attendees are recommended to keep to a vegetarian diet as early as you are committed to join this event unless as otherwise instructed by your doctor.
- Please rinse your mouth clean before reciting any mantras.
- Avoid engaging in idle conversation and keep your sacred space quiet and clean for the ceremony.
- Practice Compassion daily and recite the Six Syllables Mantra: OM MANI PADME HUNG from now till Wesak day and after. You may also recite the Heart Sutra or Mantras of your preference.
- Accumulate mantra recitations and we will offer blessings to the World and all Living Beings during the ceremony.
Why Wesak?
In 2004, during a deep meditation on Shakyamuni Buddha, Yantara received a clear message to organise once a year, the Wesak Ceremony. He was given the vision and structure of the ceremony along with the instructions on how to facilitate. Ever since, no matter the number of participants, the Ceremony has been on-going till now 2026, for 22 years. The purpose is simple, it is to provide space and guidance to receive the empowerments and blessings from Shakyamuni Buddha on this specific day.
It is of great honor during this day that we will be soul-traveling through a once a year SPECIAL guided meditation to the sacred Wesak valley in Himalayas. This powerful meditation alignment and blessings through Buddha’s consciousness shall be of great empowerment and blessings to all through May 2026 - April 2027!
